Capablue developed and run the Parentchannel TV video service across multiple devices.
Parentchannel was developed by a consortium of experts from the voluntary and private sectors; Parenting UK (charity), Tomorrow’s Child (production company) and Capablue. Together we developed a video focused website www.parentchannel.tv aimed at hard-to-reach parents and carers of children aged 5-19 years.
The parentchannel consortium is funded by the Government’s Department for Education, supporting the Family Information Direct programme which aims to offer expert advice, targeting those hard-to-reach and hard-to-engage parents who would not actively search for advice on parenting issues.
We provided our knowledge and expertise in designing, developing and building a VoD website to deliver the Parentchannel.tv website (www.parentchannel.tv), including user experience and project management.
We have worked closely with Parenting UK to drive content syndication opportunities and drive awareness of the Parentchannel.tv brand, including building business models around potential future revenue opportunities to enable the website to eventually become self-sustaining.
We have subsequently migrated the parentchannel website to the Connected platform so that video content can be pushed to multiple devices.
