• Capablue won 1st prize with our ‘Astra Recommends’ App in the Samsung Smart TV Challenge.

  In May 2011, Capablue won 1^st prize with our ‘Astra Recommends’ Connected TV App in the Samsung Smart TV Challenge. Capablue worked in partnership with Astra to develop an app which presents a VoD interface where a user can view programmes by category or genre. It enables content discovery with recommendations being provided via social media integration and intelligence from user preferences & reviews. Users can also personalize their homepage using their preferences and social media recommendations. The winning criteria included the best overall visual appeal, original and most interesting idea and functional implementation.
